We also mentioned that as part of that program, all proceeds from our sale of recyclable material will be donated to the Brevard Humane Society. We that in mind, we wanted to shine a spotlight on the Brevard Humane Society, and tell you a little bit more about who they are and what they do. The Brevard Humane Society is the oldest animal welfare organization in Brevard County. It was founded in 1952 to promote humane treatment of animals and to care for the homeless animals of Brevard County. A “no kill for space” shelter, Brevard Humane Society does not euthanize animals just to free up cage space. Instead, they seek to create a “no kill community” by offering programs that promote care for animals, the adoption of homeless animals, and raising community awareness on the importance of spaying and neutering pets. To help achieve that goal, the Brevard Hum

The average cell phone is used for 18 months or less, and an estimated 140 million cell phones are thrown away every year. Not only does this waste take up an enormous amount of space in our landfills, it also represents a significant environmental threat. Many of the materials and components that are in your cell phone can be harmful to the environment.
